Every person should know Su Jok Massage using on palm as first aid for injuries and health problems. According to my experience, this is one of the most effective reflexological systems for that, to reduce pain and bodily discomforts.
Su Jok massage is done on the hands and soles of the feet, the basic scheme is very logical and simple. Before I go into explaining the scheme, I remind you – in case of illnesses always consult a doctor. Su Jok Therapy treats diseases, but it is practiced by trained doctors.
Su Jok massage for self-help can be done by everyone – there are no contraindications for therapy. However, older people and those weakened by illness should be more cautious with the stronger massage techniques shown by me on the palm.

There are many Su Jok teachings and schemes on the internet. However, for those who are familiarizing themselves with Su Jok massage for the first time, I will put here some links for exploration.

- Free Su Jok learning application – ‘Master Acupressure – Su Jok’ is available on Google Play Store, but very full of advertisements. Perhaps it would be more beneficial to purchase the application.

However, I share with you Su Jok techniques from a masseur’s perspective. I have used these techniques myself and felt their effectiveness. The techniques work quickly and are efficient. And please note – not the techniques themselves are special or giving you something, but your own body has amazing abilities and the techniques are just triggers for special effects to occur.
In this first video and today’s article, I introduce to you how body areas are located on the palms of the hands.

My Acquaintance with Su Jok Massage…
… began over 20 years ago.
I was on a train on my way home.
I was browsing through a brochure I had bought from the market, which highlighted the most basic Su Jok schemes. I had been suffering from sacral pain for 2 years. I felt pain both during the day and at night.
I rubbed the area around the sacrum as shown on the scheme on my hand for about half a minute and experienced an unforgettable moment – the back pain decreased by half.
Several years later, I was completely rid of sacral pain (using other treatment methods), but that amazing first experience laid the foundation for my love for Su Jok Therapy in general.
Over time, I will be able to write a lot more about Su Jok massage and my experiences, but for now, I will start describing the basic scheme.
The given diagrams were made based on the diagrams in Su Jok Therapy books.
The Su Jok Standard System
Human hands and feet are replicas of the human body. Although the Su Jok standard scheme is very simple, it has some exceptions that are useful to understand.
In order to instantly find the right body parts from the palms,
always place both palms next to your body in this way.
Do it right now. (I’m sitting on the couch in the picture).

Now you have obtained an image of your body.
The palms are the front of the body, the backs of the hands are the back of the body.
Remember – there is no mirror image between the palms.
The middle, longer fingers represent the legs, and the hands are on the sides.
This applies to both palms.
The right side finger next to the legs represents the right hand.
And the finger on the left side represents the left hand.
This applies to both hands.

Each body part corresponds to one finger segment.

Now let’s take a closer look at the Su Jok Scheme
Mentally move the thumb along with the palm part upwards.
The top segment of the thumb is the head.
The next long thumb segment is the neck.
Next comes the chest area up to the intercostal triangle region.
This area also represents the diaphragm.

In the palm, you can find these organs…

The Upper Side of the Palm
From the left side of the thumb, you can find the left shoulder blade, and from the right thumb, you can find the right shoulder blade.
There are 8 pairs of ribs on the thumb and 4 pairs of ribs on the upper side of the palm.
You can also find the sacrum.
The hip joints are located in the area of the fingertip joints.
The figure shows the regions of the body’s joints, which mostly overlap with the joints of the fingers.

Su Jok hand and foot correspondences on the fingers

In the case of legs, the correspondence of exact regions is slightly different.
Do not let the complexity of the figure confuse you.
The principle of the leg scheme on the hand is simple-
the top halves of the legs are located on the sides of the fingers (outside).
Or, to put it even more simply, the knees (and the top halves of the legs) are facing outward.
Continuing, everything is logical-
from the top view of the diagram, you can see the insides of the legs.
When the fingers are together, the back halves of the legs coincide.
The outer sides of the legs are located on the top side of the fingers.

The soles of the feet are located on the palm side of the fingers.
Look carefully – the big toes are located on the outer edges of the phalanges, the heel more towards the inner edge of the phalanx.
The topsides of the feet are located on the topside of the phalanges (see the diagram depicting the topside of the hand).
I went to a lot of trouble to make these diagrams and for only one reason – Su Jok massage on the hands and feet is a great helper in maintaining the well-being of the body, even indispensable from my point of view.
I will talk about my experiences and observations in the following Su Jok articles.
The basic way to massage the hands and feet
Find the area of the body you want to invigorate on the diagrams.
Massage the area effectively/strongly- rub, knead, “saw” with the edge of your hand.
Too gentle massage usually yields no results.
The massaged area should turn red and warm (sometimes even moist). Massage continuously for 3-5 minutes.
In just a few seconds, you should feel positive changes occurring in the body area.
When you choose to take Su Jok Massage seriously, you’ll discover a method for supporting your body that will never let you down.
Success!
